The cost of attendance is an estimate of the total amount it should cost a student to go to school—usually expressed as a yearly figure and including tuition and fees, on-campus room and board, books, supplies, transportation, and miscellaneous expenses.
The cost of attendance is determined using survey information gathered from a random sample of students. It is not the amount of money you owe the university. Individual costs of attendance vary according to the residency, academic level, enrollment, and housing option (on campus/off campus).
For students feeling the estimated cost of attendance no longer reflects their actual expenses for the academic year, a Financial Aid Cost of Attendance form can be submitted to our office.
For students attending in the Fall Term only, appeals must be submitted by November 1, 2009 and for students attending Fall and Spring Terms appeals must be submitted by April 1, 2010. Please allow six to eight weeks for the appeal to be processed. However, approval of an appeal does not guarantee receipt of additional aid.
In addition to this paperwork, other documentation may be requested
