Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions come up about the program so we thought we would answer them for you here:

  • How long does the program take to complete?

If the student completes the program in one setting doing only the basics of the program, it would take about 2 ½ hours to finish. However, if the student would like to learn more, there are additional resources and activities that can provide greater learning opportunities and ideas for the future. The more students put into the program, the more they will take away.

  • Is this program required?

We are strongly encouraging students to complete the program. Since it doesn’t take a great deal of time and it is on the student’s account for the entire year, it is a great opportunity. Participants will gain some essential financial information and skills for FREE!!

  • Does the student get college credit for completing this program?

No, this is a workshop. The motivation for completing this is simply to gain greater understanding of one’s OWN personal finances. The information provided in this program could save the student from a future of debt, huge credit card bills and monstrous student loan payments.

  • What if the student doesn’t complete the program?

If the student chooses not to complete the program, he or she will be missing out on an incredible educational opportunity. I found a long time ago that you can never go wrong when you expand your knowledge base…and since this is a FREE program, it is an even better deal.

  • Is the program difficult?

Absolutely not! It is actually fun. Take a look at the Guest Access and see for yourself. All of the presentations are read to the student, the activities are very relevant to the listener, the resources are very interesting and helpful, and the quizzes are very simple (quizzes are not available in guest access). Everything in life should be so easy.

  • Can the student access this information after he/she completes it?

Sure!!! All of the information can be downloaded and saved to the student’s computer. Copies of the presentation are available in a .pdf format, activities were designed for current and future use, and resources let the student know how to locate the information after college. The program was made for students. We want them to be able to access it when they need it.  In addition, students and other guests are always welcome to visit the Guest Access link.
