Cost of Attendance (COA)

A student’s budget, or the Cost of Attendance (COA), for the academic year is set based upon actual costs of tuition, fees, estimates for room and board, books, and personal and travel expenses (there is also a one-time computer expense for new freshmen and new graduate students). These amounts are determined using student survey information. The individual budget for each student will be listed on the award notification. It will also be available on the Hokie SPA, under Financial Aid -- Cost of Attendance.
