In some cases a hold may be placed on your financial aid account because our office may need additional information or documentation before we can either disburse or award your financial aid. A notification will be sent out via the student's Virginia Tech email address and the requested documentation can be viewed on Hokie SPA or MyVT.

Another instance in which a hold on your account or a delay may happen is because our office has received documentation/information that may have an affect on your financial aid application. Please allow 2-5 business days for us to process this information.
