In some cases a hold may be placed on your financial aid account because our office may need additional information or documentation before we can either disburse or award your financial aid. A notification will be sent out via the student's Virginia Tech email address and the requested documentation can be viewed on Hokie SPA or MyVT.
If our office receives documentation/information that may affect your financial aid application, we sometimes place a hold on your account. Processing takes about 2 weeks, however, more time may be needed.
